In this summary we present the contextualization and research and extension problems that we have carried out in a public school in Montevideo, since 2019, by the Faculty of Psychology of the University of the Republic of Uruguay. The importance of education to promote equity and facilitate the social inclusion of children in a context of displacement is widely recognized by different international organizations. At the same time, there is a variety of studies that reveal different forms of discrimination, xenophobia and social exclusion that migrant children suffer as they travel through educational systems in different parts of the world. There is also literature that shows how oppressions are intertwined in terms of race, gender, social class and differential origin in relation to migrants in educational institutions.
