Abstract

The study investigated inclusive public educational policies and their implementation to meet the special educational needs of students with visual impairments in two schools in Taguatinga in the Federal District, Brazil. The research studied the gaps in the educational inclusion process. The research problem sought to analyze how public educational policies are being implemented to address the special educational needs of people with visual disabilities and how these policies are articulated from school management, in two investigated schools belonging to the Taguatinga cluster, in the Federal District. . The general objective was to analyze how public educational policies were implemented and how they were articulated by school management to meet the needs of students with visual disabilities in both schools.
